2. Daisy’s Diner

Going to Daisy’s is like eating breakfast in grandma’s kitchen. You really can’t get this kind of home cooking anywhere else for the prices they have here at Daisy’s. 3. Snapshots Coffee & Kitchen

Right down the road from Heath in Newark is Snapshots Coffee & Kitchen, a lovely little restaurant and the biscuits here are beyond amazing. They fall apart before they ever get to your mouth. It is a rather messy process getting such buttery crunchy nuggets of fluffy biscuit down, but it is a task worth doing. They have a great variety of delicious breakfast sandwiches and their coffee is fresh and tasty.

4. Big Apple Cafe

Also located in Newark, this mom-and-pop hole in the wall, Big Apple Cafe, is a great stop if you want a filling breakfast. With offerings like eggs, toast, hashbrowns, and bacon, you’ll feel like you are back in your mom’s kitchen. This is a great place with even better prices.

5. Big John’s Dining and Catering

This is a fun place to go on a Saturday morning because it is such a community gathering place. Everyone knows everyone here. You’ll hear jokes flying across the restaurant between old friends.
