Nothing hits the spot quite like a nice sandwich. Whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, a sandwich can be the perfect option for a portable meal for someone who is on the go and hungry. Heath, OH is host to a wide variety of local sandwich places, run by hard-working and honest people who want to send their customers away full and satisfied. Here are our favorites in the area!

Fries, sandwiches, and a lot of fried foods.

Mick’s Soft Serve and Sandwiches

Let’s begin with a local favorite. Mick’s Soft Serve is located in a small, unassuming building, but the flavor they serve is anything but small. As their name suggests, they specialize in hearty, grilled sandwiches and creamy soft-serve ice cream, making it a great place to get a quick bite or bring children for a sweet treat. Their prices truly can’t be beat, as nothing on their menu is more than $6.50.

Some of our favorite sandwiches at Mick’s Soft Serve and Sandwiches are the bacon cheeseburger and the classic BLT. But for those looking for something more unique, we recommend the cod fish tail, which you definitely won’t find in every restaurant!

Baba’s Grill

Every time we go to Baba’s Grill, our mouth starts watering just thinking about the delicious food they cook up. If you’re so hungry that you think you could eat a horse, this is the spot for you. The portions served at Baba’s Grill are second to none! But we have to warn you, you might need to loosen a few belt loops after eating there!

At Baba’s, you build your own sandwich by choosing your bread, your meat, your cheese, and your toppings, so the sky is the limit when it comes to what you can order. But if you want a more curated dining experience, they also offer specialties like Baba’s Corned Beef, Baba’s Hungry, and Baba’s Healthy – for those wanting a bit of a lighter option.

Franks & Sammies

Here, they don’t serve sandwiches, but instead “sammiches,” and their menu is written on a big chalkboard, which gives you an idea of the laid-back atmosphere at Franks and Sammies. This place is about as classic as it gets when it comes to an American diner, making it a great Saturday or Sunday afternoon spot for the whole family. The owners and staff are as nice as they can be, and the sandwiches they come up with are about as creative as we’ve ever seen.

Their Cotton Eyed Joe sandwich is a mouth-watering shredded chicken delight, the Humpty Dance features homemade egg salad, and the Time For A Change is a salmon sandwich with sweet and spicy mustard. Check out their menu to see all of the other creations they specialize in. We’ve just scratched the surface!

Sandwiches are generally a clean meal, but accidents happen! But if you spill a bit of sauce in your new 2022 Toyota Avalon, you have nothing to worry about as the premium leather seats are a breeze to clean. Come check one out at Coughlin Toyota!
