1. John C. Geller Park 

The John C. Geller Park at 480 Cynthia Street in Heath covers 51.77 acres of rolling green lawns, woodlands, and sports fields. A two-mile walking path winds through scenic areas in the park and past the two softball fields, two sand volleyball courts, and various play structures.

The park has a shelter for shade in summer, and in winter, the hill is a popular sledding destination. It’s also a community gathering place where many events are hosted throughout the year, including the annual Star Spangled Banner Celebration at the beginning of July.

Did you know Heath is the home of the world’s largest geometric circle enclosures? Newark Earthworks is the state’s official prehistoric monument, as well as a National Historic Landmark. Explore these wonders on your own (no stepping on them, please) or take a guided tour, offered at 12:30 p.m. on the first Friday of each month from April through December.

You can visit the Newark Earthworks free of charge from dawn to dusk each day. It’s located at 455 Hebron Road in Heath.

Toyota has introduced the ’23 4Runner 40th Anniversary Special Edition this year to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the model’s nameplate. This special edition is based on the SR4 and is available in white, red, and black paint schemes with tri-colored graphics on the grille and body. This special edition also features 17-inch bronze wheels.

That bronze color is repeated inside the vehicle with bronze stitching on the shift knob and leatherette seats. Additionally, this model includes callouts on the floormats and front headrests. You will also find several interior badges to match. In addition to this 40th-anniversary model, Toyota has added standard rear-cross traffic alerts and blind-spot monitoring across the 4Runner lineup.
