1. Fazoli’s

For fresh, made-to-order, delicious Italian cuisine, stop by Fazoli’s, located at 539 Hebron Rd. They make their own sauces every day, as well. Start with the endless breadsticks while you decide on your meal. You’ll definitely want to dine here on a Tuesday between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. because kids eat for $0.99 with an adult entree purchase. They also have specials on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

2. Frisch’s Big Boy

This is one of the locals’ favorite joints for a great burger for lunch or dinner. Try the famous Big Boy Sandwich, which has a quarter pound of fresh beef. The bacon cheeseburger and the patty melt also make fine choices. Ask about their soup of the day, and take advantage of the unlimited soup and salad bar. They’re also open for breakfast, and on Saturdays and Sundays, they offer a buffet filled with all your favorites. They can be found at 775 Hebron Rd.

3. Pappy’s Grill on 79

Stop by 1122 Hebron Rd for a dockside meal the whole family will enjoy. They have a bit of everything, from appetizers to salads, pizza to platters, and burgers to desserts. Start with an order of the buffalo shrimp and the chicken wings, and then we suggest the cod basket platter, the Pappy burger, the Whale Tale, or the shrimp tacos for your main course. They also have several options for the kiddos for just $5.95. The atmosphere is upbeat and colorful as well.

4. Massey’s Pizza Sports Bar & Wings

Everyone can watch the game while enjoying a great pizza here at Massey’s, located at 771 S 30th St., 221 Indian Mound Mall. Grab a Sicilian deep dish pizza or a premium specialty meat feast pie while the kids enjoy a hamburger, wings, mini corndogs, or spaghetti for $4.99. They also have burgers, sandwiches, subs, and wings. Or, visit during lunch for their buffet Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Adults eat for just $10.99, and the kids for only $6.99.
