2022 Toyota Prius

The 2022 Toyota Prius comes in two models, a front-wheel-drive (FWD) edition, and an All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) edition. This first version comes in five trim levels, the L Eco, the LE, the XLE, the Nightshade Edition, and the Limited. The second version comes in three trim levels, the LE, the XLE, and the Nightshade Edition. Each trim level offers you the opportunity to experience more of the features Toyota offers, such as the Limited trim level's integrated fog lights to increase visibility during foggy and rainy conditions, and the Nightshade Edition's 17-inch alloy five-spoke wheels with black bolts and wheel inserts.

The 2022 Toyota Prius comes with a hybrid engine system that can output 121 horsepower and 105 pound-feet of torque at 3,600 rotations per minute (rpm). Independently, the 1.8 -liter, four-cylinder combustion system can output 96 horsepower at 5,200 rpm. Comparatively, the permanent magnet AC synchronous electric motor can output 71 horsepower.

To complement its hybrid engine, the 2022 Toyota Prius comes with an independent MacPherson strut front suspension with stabilizer bars and a multi-link rear suspension with stabilizer bars to keep your ride smooth during all road conditions. With its electric power steering capabilities, you can turn the vehicle through a 33.5-feet turning diameter, making it excellent for navigating the tight streets of cities. As for the brakes, it has power-assisted ventilated front disc brakes, and a solid rear disc with integrated regenerative braking to keep your brakes at peak performance longer.

The interior of the vehicle is spacious, allowing you to store cargo behind the front seats. With the rear seats up, the 2022 Toyota Prius has 27.4 cubic feet of cargo space, which almost doubles to 50.7 cubic feet of space when you fold the rear seats down. All trim levels of the vehicle come with a smart-flow climate control system with pollen filters. At lower trim levels, the vehicle has fabric-covered and trimmed seats. At the middle trim levels, it comes with SofTex trimmed seats, and at the highest trim levels, the 2022 Toyota Prius has leather-trimmed seats.

The 2022 Toyota Prius comes with several safety features across all trim levels, including a tire pressure monitoring system, LATCH system for the rear seats, and the Toyota Safety Sense system to prevent collisions with pedestrians and leading vehicles, and warnings for lane departure and road signs. The vehicle also comes with dynamic radar cruise control to follow the flow of highway traffic. All the 2022 Toyota Prius trim levels also come with anti-theft systems which activate an alarm warning system and immobilize the engine if someone tries to steal or break into your vehicle.
